Starting from Limassol, we will head towards Troodos National Forest Park.
On the way, we will visit a non-touristic Cypriot village – Kapileio, to get a glimpse of the traditional way of Cyprus life.
Our exploration will continue with an exciting off-road drive with magnificent panoramic views.
The next stop will be in Laneia – a picturesque village at the foot of Mount Troodos, one of the country’s wine-producing villages. We will walk through the beautiful flower-lined streets and stone houses and visit an ancient and authentic wine press – Linos, formerly used for making Commandaria.
Continuing our journey, past little villages and splendid views we will arrive at the beginning of the trail. The Kalidonia trail runs through a beautiful forest, rich in diverse flora and fauna. It is good for all skill levels and at a good pace, it will take us around one and a half hours to go up to the waterfall and come back.
Afterward, we will go to a local taverna to enjoy traditional Cypriot cuisine.
Finally, we will visit a village winery for tasting local wines famous in the region.
